Past Camps

A look back at Hornet Basketball Camps in White Sulphur Springs — the kids, the skills, and the memories made on the court.

2026 · Summer Camp

Twenty-eight campers. One gym full of energy.

The 2026 summer camp wrapped with 28 campers split across a younger and an older age group. Skills developed included love of the game, defense, dribbling, shooting form, and teamwork — and every attendee received a take-home basketball.

Skills we worked on

Love of the game

Campers left more excited about basketball than when they arrived — hustle, smiles, and a whole lot of energy.

Defense

Stance, footwork, and on-ball pressure — the habits that win games and build confidence.

Dribbling

Ball-handling reps with both hands so every camper could keep their dribble under pressure.

Shooting form

Form first: balance, elbow, follow-through — building a shot that travels home with them.

Teamwork

Passing, communicating, and cheering each other on — what it means to be a great teammate.
